Students will learn basic construction; Roof framing of gables, hips, valleys and rakes and dormers. Learn how to cut sizes and angles. Learn how to utilize saws, levels, squares and construction calculators to build roof structures to pass construction codes. How to apply for permits, pass inspections, obtain proper licensing.

Students will learn basic Sheetmetal fabrication; How to use 10 ft. hydraulic shear, 5-foot tin knocker shear, how to form sheet metal roof parts with a 5 foot and a 10-foot mechanical brake. How to use the Pittsburg seamer. How to fabricate gutters and downspouts and install them. How to fabricate sheetmetal standing seam roof panels in our shop and install them.

Students will learn basic accurate measurements for any roofing project. How to figure costs of man hours and materials. All students will learn aerial drone operation for project photography. Learn how to be connected to our online roof consultation service available to all our graduates for a minimal cost.

Our students will learn basic knowledge of stucco system applications.

Our students will learn how to apply asphalt shingles. In our school yard we have our own roof structures ready to be roofed. All students will apply hands on.

Our students will learn commercial roof applications. Specifically, PVC/TPO. We will train our students on DuroLast Roof System applications. Durolast is the  world’s best single ply roof system. Durolast is an exclusive roofing supplier to authorized certified contractors. We will send our students to Dallas for a or Durolast may send their trainers to our facility.

Our students will graduate with knowledge, with certifications and experience. They will be ready to work for a company or establish their own roofing company.
